Do you think a rescore will help me pass based on this performance report?

Wow.  I find this report very confusing.  It says you failed, but when I look at your scores compared to "passing candidate", you were higher on everything except reviews.  The last table shows you were comparable or stronger in all categories.  So how did they come up with you being weaker in communictions, and how did you fail?

Looking at the report, I would be really inclined to ask for a rescore also.  But I hear that no one has ever gotton it reversed...

I would at least call someone and ask what this diagnotic report is saying - and ask how you failed.  Does it tell you any where what "your performance" numbers mean, and what "passing candidate's performance" means?  If these are not scores, then what are these numbers?  Thats the crux - find out what these numbers mean.  If you cannot pin them down on these numbers, then asking for a rescore isn't going to help you.  They will slip out from under you, leaving you with a 74 and a couple hundred poorer for having questioned them.  That's my .002

The AICPA keeps doing these types of things because no one has
exposed them. This score report is perfect material for "Penn & Teller" BS.
I believe you should contact the media and give them your report and let
them know that "based on this report it is impossible to pass the CPA
Exam". The methodologies as to how they come up with the score is
undisclosed. All the entire grading process is cowardly hidden.
