Hi Charu,

I have also cleared my last exam in Sept'09 from CO. Even I am looking for clues on how to get the the certificate. Moreover I have also not got the congratulatory letter that you are referring to. I only received my marksheet. Can you clarify if they will send a separate letter stating that I have cleared the exam?

I am based in Doha,Qatar and I do not intend to in the US . Can someone throw some light on how to get the certificate from CO board in my situation?

Hi,

I am not sure but have read somewhere that we shall recieve a letter wherein next steps will be detailed ..haven't received that letter so far.

As per your your situation. You do not need a CPA license if working in a Corporate in Doha. I guess just certificate should suffice. To get the certificate you would need to pass the ethics exam for sure but for rest even I am unclear.

Gd luck.

Colorado does not issue a certificate...only a license.

Hi Caper,

In that case can I transfer my scores to another state ?. Is there any state that you can suggest where I can transfer the scores and get the certificate without much hassles?

Illinois issues certificates upon passing the CPA and ethics exam.

However, you need to have 150 semester hours to sit for the exam.
