I started listening to the Kaplan free BEC mp3 files on the ipod and in the car while commuting.

I would not study with any music on - you are not creating the feel for the real exam. Dont want to be in a new environment when taking your test. Put some earplugs on if possible.

I had a fan going yesterday, even that was a bit distracting.

OP's post is highly unclear.

I think he meant if anyone studied using CD's.

Yes I have been listening to CD's from Kaplan's free BEC.

i CANNOT study in complete silence. I have to have music playing. I even have music playing at work, silence bugs the heck out of me!
