Hi everyone, i was wondering about how many weeks are needed to prepare for FAR using Becker 2010. I study about 20 to 24 hours a week. Do you think i could be ready to take it towards the end of November? Thanks in advance.

Yes, you have allowed about 2 months are more. I'm not familiar with Becker. I used Wiley.

Yeah, i think that's enough, only assessment you need is, are the basic FAR concepts roughly familiar to you or is this pretty much from scratch.  If you have a decent background then the 2 months are enough, granted to slog through the becker text will eat up almost the entire time...but then i again i'd read one page, eyes glaze over, fall asleep for 10 minutes and then read the next page.  I never really got to do much of the passmaster but did ok anyway so that speaks to the difficulty level of the questions...no curveballs thrown.  So yeah, keep to an HONEST 20-24 hours/week and you'll kill it.   Know the gov't accounting stuff - just becuase it's last doesn't mean it's unimportant...lots of EASY points up for grab there.

Hey, I started in September and will take end of October. I can tell you that it is going to be difficult to have a lot of practice time left. I am putting 20-24 hours per week, and for sure I will be able to cover all the chapters but I won't be able to practice and practice as I did with reg and bec. I just hope that it will be enough for 75 :)
