Just received my FAR score and I am totally demoralized. I
made a 72! I knew I was weak on Sims but still HOPED I
could squeeze a 75. To keep it short. I am currently
studying for AUD and plan on taking it in three weeks. My
question is 1. Should I quit preparing for audit and retake
FAR or just focus on Audit for now. 2. For those of you who
passed audit how did you prepare for SIMS? And are you
willing to part with your notes/books/flash cards. Thanks
for advice in advance.

I failed Audit again for the 3rd time and I need help on how to approach my
beast for the 4th time.

My scores were 57, 70, 71.
I used Becker for all 3. For 2nd & 3rd attempt I added Wiley M/C & Roger
Cram course. What GETS ME is that I had a one point increase yet I felt more
confident about getting at least a 75 leaving the test center in comparison
my 2nd retake.

This exam is absolutely horrible!!

Sounds like you are starting to grasp it but you may need some help in test taking skills..

I took AUD 4 times too, my scores were 59,69,71,56,
before passing, all i got to tell u is keep trying. Once
i took AUD last time, i new i did good and i thought to
my self i didnt pass i would just quit CPA, but i know i
am going to regret that the rest of my life. It looks
like to me, u know the material, this stupied exam is
just tricky with the questions, just give it a try one
more time. My last time i used, ROGER CRAM+WILEY+GLIEM. I
did all the questions like 3 times and I didnt memorize
but just kept reading the answers whether wrong or right.
Anyways hang in there, u will be a CPA soon. DONT
QUIT!!!. GOOD LUCK!!

I used Becker and failed Audit with a 61 the first time. Did everything they said to do.

To pass Audit here's what I did:

- Used Kaplan's CPA review system.
- Focused on completing all multiple choice questions with at least a 90% score per section
- Took a week off from work before the exam to substantially review
- Since I'm working 45-55 hours per week I allotted 3 months for studying (including the week of final review).

This is what got me a 78 on Audit. Good luck!
