I took REG last week. It seemed pretty reasonable. I used the Wiley books, the Wiley test bank CD, and CPA Review for Free to prepare, and they collectively covered pretty much everything that was on the test. I had to do a fair amount of educated guessing, but I think that's normal.

As for the sims, they seemed pretty similar to the sims on the Wiley CD and from the free Gleim practice exam. I think that the FAR sims (I took that one in May) were way tougher/out-of-left-field, actually. But that might just be the luck of the draw. 

Anyway, it's a tough test, but it's doable. If you can consistently score in the 80s on the Gleim and Wiley practice exams, I think you can pass.
