Becker was fairly good at presenting and explaining IT topics, but I wouldn't
focus on this area too much given that I think it to be lightly tested on the
exam. Know the topics that Becker presents, and you will be fine.

I would focus on the computation questions presented in your course review
materials. Develop a formula sheet and work through plenty of questions of
all types to get familiar with the different ways they can ask similar
questions.

hi CPA#1

Good luck for your scores. Can you share how you studied
for BEC. Did you use the same exam prep method as you did
for all the others. Listen to lectures, write your notes
and do MCQs? I found writing my own notes for REG was
very useful but BEC material is pretty much straight
forward to understand from the book and dont want to
waste alot of time. Nonetheless I dont want to get over
confident and not retain any information. Can you provide
some feedback on that please?

Or they studied 10% the amount of time they should have.
I
did Becker self-study... watched the lectures once did
nearly all the m/c once through and did pretty well.

I don't understand how people don't pass BEC. If you
study
and go in prepared, and you fail you should probably give
up on the CPA.
I took BEC a couple of days ago. I
feel I did ok, but that's what scares me. I hope I'm not
too overconfident. The exam was a lot harder than I
expected, but since I studied my butt off and prepared
for the worst, I felt well-prepared and was able to
tackle those challenging questions.I'm crossing my
fingers for a passing grade. I need to pass at least one
part on my first attempt, lol.

Hi CPA#1

In this post, you mentioned that BEC questions were really challanging. I am studying from Wiley book and have gleim software. Wiley is fine but questions in gleim software are very challanging. I want to know your exam was more challanging as compared to gleim software. I am getting just 65 to 70% marks in gleim software.

No sure if the exam will be more challanging than this..
