Absolutely not. I am actually in the program now and so
far, my understanding has been you have to have a
business degree from an accredited institution. I think
the reason is that they want you to qualify you for the
CPA exam upon completing this one year course and GA CPA
licensing requires that you have like 20 hours of
business classes in addition to 30 hour upper division
accounting course credits. Now, I can't say this about
other business masters degree programs but due to
licensing requirement, what they say makes sense.
I think you should check with someone in that
department, I think Allison Jacob (program director)
should be able to tell you about this. The worst case
scenario I think, you will need to take few business
classes as an non-degree student. I hope this helps.
