Jeni had a good point. However I would agree with the majority and say do the hardest first so you can avoid eating up three windows trying to pass the financial.  However if you are currently in the Industry and right out of college I would recommend studying what would help you the most in your job.  Me, i will take financial ,then regulation, then audit, and I will finish with BEC.

Anyone try studying all at the same time? I plan to study for all of them for about six months get about 60 percent retention on each.  Then I will join the herd with the cramming and window watching. I am thinking that way two thirds of my studying is done before I even start my 18 month countdown.

that was my policy too, the order for me is FARE (monster), AUD, REG, BEC (most comfortable)

Here is a consideration. Let's say that you pass FARE (the hardest) first and do not pass all of the other parts in 18 months. FARE, which is cram-packed with material, will be the first you will have to pass again. I am sure that there are plenty of people out there that have lost an exam credit. My approach is that the first one that I pass will be the one that I will be most comfortable retaking, if necessary. Since I am an auditor, that it AUD.

When I was first deciding which ones to study in which order, I was thinking about going with FARE first since it is hardest. But, I received some advice from a veteran CPA exam test-taker. He said that you should start with the ones that will be easiest for you so that it will build your confidence. Confidence (and knowledge of material and tricks) are the keys to passing the exam. My test order was: AUD, REG, BEC, FARE.

Agree.100%.
BEC/AUD might be the best place to start, for me it is BEC...would like to get it done before they introduce sims..Also,it has less material to be covered,so if done well, it can be a big confidence booster too..
I had the same thoughts, the first one should be the one which u dont mind taking it again if the credit expires....

My order is AUD-FAR-BEC-REG.....and now I got stuck in REG....(took it twice now and just got the result of 74). Gonna admit that I was bad in Regulation when I was at school
