The live classes definitely helped me understand the materials but I think it was because we have such an INCREDIBLE instructor here in Dallas. Her name is Liliana Hickman-Riggs; she doesn't lecture; she teaches from her own notes and shows tricks/secrets to really understanding the material.

Hello,

Don't tell me you go to UTD? I am in Dallas, and I graduated from UTD with MBA three years ago. I know Liliana, I took govermental accounting course with her. Yes, she is a great teacher, but he is no longer teaching in UTD. I would appreciate you, if you give me some hints how to prepare for the CPA exam.  I heard practice the MCQ as much as you can, but at some point you would memorize the answers.

Thank you,

No, I do not attend UTD. I took Liliana's review courses through Becker; she was awesome!

I do nonstop MCQs. For the ones I get wrong, I go back and review my notes to make sure I understand where I went wrong. For the WCs, I study those that are presented in the Wiley book so that I can become familiar with (1) the topics presented and (2) a proper response. The system looks for key words in evaluating the WCs.
