FLBS,
I'm currently enrolled in Intermediate I. I was hoping to get these classes
going quicker. But, life happens, so I get this work done as quick as I can. It
will probably take me 2 or 3 months to finish this class.

Ahhh I'm so stressed out. I had surgery, missed my college graduation, and
I can't keep up with advanced accounting during the summer term here
since I'm still recovering from my surgery.

Does anyone know if New York State will accept LSU's advanced accounting
credits?

I don't see why NY would have a problem.  LSU is regionally accredited.  Please let me know if you have drama, since I am planning on starting some classes at LSU once I finish Inter. II at the end of June.

Which class(es) are you planning to take and when?

@Mek: Wow a month later I'm replying to this. My apologies! I need to take
Advanced Accounting. But I'm between LSU, and UC Berkeley
or UCLA. What will you be taking? And are you finished with Int II now?

Another question I had was, when they say you need to have a proctor for
your exam, how are you supposed to do that if you're taking this course
online? Especially if you're like me, who lives in a really rural area?

Ridz,

About your proctor question:  You have to physically go to a place where you take the exam under supervision.  That means you might need to drive an hour or so 2-3 times over the course.

Somewhere on the LSU site you can locate a proctor that's closest to you. If that doesn't work, you can search schools (community colleges or universities) around you to see whether the schools have a "Testing Center" (usually for math/english placement tests). If there is a testing center, call and ask whether they provide proctor services.

If you only need proctoring for 1 course, you could also post and ad or email local high school teachers or professors. They might be willing to help.
