To CAPER:
Hello!
What do you mean by "If you are a licensed CPA"? In US or in PI? Well I am a CPA in the Philippines, and am currently reviewing for the US CPA exam. I just found out last Dec 2009 that I passed AUD (92) and FAR (89), praise God! But I also found out later that month that my husband's contract here in US has been terminated and we will be required to go home soon. One good thing though is that kaka-nominate lng ng husband ko as Provincial Nominee sa Alberta, CA, so Im thinking if ma-credit bayung napasa kong mga exams dito sa US if dun na kami sa CA. What do you think. Please help!

Hi CPA_Addict
I meant a valid US CPA license from any of the State accountancy boards. If you just passed the CPA exam or only hold a certificate and not a license then you will not get any credits from any of the three Canadian accounting bodies (CA/CGA/CMA).

Thanks CAPER! Got that!
By the way, I got another questions:
1. Ma honor ba yung experience sa PI as experience requirements for CPA Cert sa US?
2. If so, which State board will this be possible? Because in TX, sa pgkaka-alam ko dapat dito sa US na experience lang ang pwede.
Any input from any contributor is welcome! Thanks!

Ang alam ko walang value ang mga work experience natin sa
PI with regards to getting a CPA license after passing all
4 sections of CPA exam. Tapos ang work experience should be
under the supervisory of a US CPA kasi he/she will be the
one to certify that you met the required hours for you to
get your CPA license.
