hey henryv i was talking to a PRTC reviewer yesterday
night and he was telling me that we wouldn't have
problems with BEC AUD and FAR because those are MAS,AT
and P1+P2 only change in specific details are there to
study more (BEC have very few differences, AUD to details
as they have US GAAS but conceptually the same and FAR
they are using US GAAP but as of 2011 they are
implementing IFRS so we are in a very good advantage) but
REG is a whole new different subject as Phil law and US
law especially tax laws are different.
Phil cpa is not needed to be CPA here as there is no
reciprocity between the countries. (dude nasa aud theo
yan haha)

Hi!
I'm also new in this forum. Just got here last month from
the Philippines. I'm planning to take US CPA exam.
Anyone here took additional units in order for you to
qualify or units from Phils is good enough to meet the
requirements?
I'm from California and planning also to apply here.
Any inputs will be highly appreciated.
