Has anyone used yaeger cpa review course?which is better gleim or yaeger?tnx

You guys can do it!! I'm currently a 4th yr student in UST and i was looking at the questions in the FAR discussion room. Most of the problems they have encountered are also the same as those we use in our quizzes (AICPA). Most of the review books also for practical accounting here in the phils. uses the AICPA as their questions. BEC tests for Cost and Managerial acct. most are the same. The REG test is defintely different. I think you guys just have to recall those lessons. Good luck to you guys!! :D

anybody working in Canada here?

I'm a CPA from the philippines and I just arrived here in canada. I'm working as an accountant in a family business (with the help of an external CGA) but i'm planning to work in a different company.

As far as I know, canadian doesn't recognize our license from the phils. For that reason, I'm planning to take the CGA exams.

anybody wants to advice me where to start? do I have to evaluate first my credentials?

then what are the subjects that I need to take?

I really dont have any idea yet.

Ely....im new in the forum.....will also land next year in Canada as an immigrant if God permits....

How are you? Did you manage to start your CGA or CICA certification? What are the chances for the RPCPAs in Canada in terms of employment?

If you are a CPA from the Philippines you will only need to take 5-6 courses in the CGA program.
