BEC- Study Materials: Becker, Wiley, & Gleim

I took BEC 2x:
first time I used Becker only and rec'd a 65
second time I used Becker, Wiley, & Gleim and passed in
last window with a 78!

My advice to you all is use many different testing
materials to pass the exam. Becker is great, but it not
for everyone and I lost a lot of time being devoted to
one system when I wish I would have used multiple.

Just wanted to help others who might have gotten a failed
test score and felt ready, did everything they could, but
didn't pass.

Why is everyones opinion so different?

There are people on this forum who said they used only Becker and passed...

BlissCPA, when you took the test the first time (using only Becker) what exactly was your study prgram?

Bliss,

Thanks for that post!! I'm really struggling right now with this section. I cannot believe I'm struggling with the section everyone else thinks it's the easiest and starts with it. And yes, I couldn't study with Becker. It makes me feel I'm reading my college textbook.

1979, you are welcome.

Another thing that I started doing was within 24-48 hours
of the test I did multiple choice questions on every
topic area. At least 10 questions or more. It helped me
pass 2/3 tests so far. Also, I am good at writing so I
believe that helped with BEC. However, I did not waste
any time practicing the written portion.

I am having issues with FAR, but believe that I will pass
this time. I know it was one sim I bombed on since my
multiple choice was same as others who passed. I got a
74!

FAR is my last one I take it on Jan 31. GL with your last
one too!
