I'm just wondering if I can buy an older version of the Becker CPA review. The current ones cost way too much.

Is there that much of a difference between these current and past versions of becker?

I'll probably try to get a used version from places like ebay or amazon.

Thanks,
Terrance

I am using Yaeger right now and the lecturers are saying there are changes in accounting standards that will be included in July/August window exam. Why stick to old Becker when you can buy a new updated review materials that does not cost as much?

Becker changes very little if at all from year to year.

I concur with the other posters - using old material may save you a few dollars in the short term but you end up spending much more in the long term in exam retake fees.

Especially with FAR - the consolidations change after July 1st will be significant and you definitely don't want to be studying from older material.

Don't do it.
