The Audit simulations has questions regarding journal entries. Becker does not prepare for these type of simulations. Is there another program that does?

I have been out of school for a while and have not used JE in my day to day.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

My advise - start from FAR if you not familiar with JE... I don't think any other program will reveiw JE in AUD material ( I used Gleim and wiley - there is nothing about JE.. )

Agree with Tatka75; even though I didn't have JEs on my Audit exam, I think it would be difficult to pass if you do not have a solid foundation; i.e., the ability to journalize transactions.  You should get FAR out of the way first, because you absolutely, positively must understand basic journal entries in order to pass that exam.  So you don't want to get into a situation where you possibly pass Audit, BEC, etc. and lose credit for them because you are continuing to re-take FAR.  Once you start studying FAR, you will know what your level of understanding is and can proceed from there.  Good luck to you.

Since you didn't pass AUD, your 18 month window has not started, which is a good thing.

I would definately start with FAR.  If JE are a weakness, look into Yeager Review.  I use Becker myself, but have seen lots of people chat about Yeager.  Yeager uses JE in teaching you how to pass FAR.  And this year, these tests seem to be focusing on JE.  My FAR sims were nothing but JE (which blew me away).  Yeager is the only review program that focuses on teaching from the basics up using JE process.

Getting FAR passed (the hardest test in my opinion) will help you on the other 3 tests.  I'm really grateful I did FAR first because studying for the other tests has been much easier now that I know FAR materials.

I agree with oldog, get through FAR first. Yaeger really helped prepare me as far as journal entries go.  I took FAR last, and if I knew then what I know now I would have taken it first.
