Hi,

I have completed my B.Com and Have cleared Chartered accountancy 2nd stage. Final is yet to be cleared. I would like to do CPA. Currently i am residing at Kansas City. Through which agency should i get my educational credentials evealuated since i already have background in accountancy, taxation, law etc. I heard that for a candidate with this background colorado agency would make the process faster. Is this true??? Can anyone help me in this regard.

You may want to clear the final CA in India and then apply through Colorado to get your license. Please read the requirements under CO boardof accountancy.

If you have your CA designation, you can automatically become a CPA in CO provided you meet all the requirements.

If you want to become a CPA in Kansas, you will have to meet the education requirements as well as take the CPA exams. Please check kansas requirements on the NASBA site
