I am looking for your thoughts on my study plan and situation. First a little background on my situation.
I sat for the CPA exam back in 1996 and did not pass a section. All of my scores were in the low 60s after taking Becker. I think back and wonder how I even had scores that high! Since then I have had a good job and kids. I was recently laid off and my wife has a CPA firm she wants me to become a part of due to growing volume of business and I have always wanted to take the exam again.
I took Becker long ago and did not comprehend a majority of the material. I recently repurchased Becker at 1/2 price and have been reviewing the material and am surprised how much I have learned through my work experience. In other words I am understanding the material!
So here is my plan. Study 4-6 hours Monday through Saturday and Sunday off. I have my NTS for BEC. What is a reasonable number of weeks to study? I plan on taking the final week to just study so I will up the hours to probably 6-8 hours per day.

well if you keep to that plan you should be fine but you really have to do the hours that you stated there. do alot of multiple choice questions since thats pretty much the entire exam when you doing bec. i found i learned the most from learning from my mistakes on the mc questions. also some of the becker questions showed up on my exam.
