I'm going crazy trying to figure this out. How do I get a new NTS? I have taken 2 of the 4 exams on my NTS and it expired on April 18. Someone please help me out. I want to sign up for FAR. Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure about other states but in California you need to re-apply with the board.

To reapply, you will need to log into your client account and create a new application remittance form.  You will then need to print, sign and date it, and submit it to the California Board of Accountancy (CBA) with the $50 reapplication fee.  After your application is approved, you will be able to make your sections selections. Etc...

I hope this was helpful even though your state might have a different process.

Grrrrr, why is this process so hard. The actual tests seem easy compared to getting to sit for the actual test.

So when I initially signed up for the test in Octoberr, I assumed I just pay for all the tests at once. Never read anything on the contrary. So I got my NTS with all 4 parts. Took 2 of them. MY NTS expired. Figured I could just get another one and take my other 2 tests. Do I really have to pay for the tests I never took that I already paid for? I'm debating giving up on this stupid test just cause the application process is miserable.

Yeah, I kind of thought the same thing, that you were
supposed to apply for all of them at the same time. So I
applied for all of them and took them in the same 6 month
period. You only have a limited time to take all of them.
It's better to take them, even if you're not ready, cause
you already paid for them. I kind of wish I had spaced
them out more. But I don't think you're going to get your
money back.
