3 months is perfect for FAR. Here is what I personally recommend....
Month#1- Watch the Homestudy lectures and take lots of notes. And then do the assigned Wiley questions after each module. Watch about 2 lectures per day. Take your time and make sure you're jotting down EVERY important detail.
Month#2- Buy the Gleim test prep software. Go over your notes on each module. Concentrate on 1 module for about 2-3 days. Then once you've completely gone over your notes for that module. Practice with about 20 questions on that module on the Gleim test prep. Make sure you're fully understanding the reasons behind the right and wrong answers. Do this for EVERY module.
Month#3- Start doing randomly assigned MCQs from the Gleim software until you throw up. That means, keep doing sets of about 30 questions from ALL topics and get used to tackling these mixed questions because that's the way the actual is going to be. Also don't ignore Simulations. I would do about a couple of Sims from the Wiley book and Software each day. Keep doing this over and over until your exam date.
Good luck!
