Most states now require the 150 credit hrs to sit for the exam. A typical Bachelors Degree is about 120-126 credits. Make sure what the requirements are for your state and if you have enough college credits to even sit for the exam.

Also, After passing the exam, there is the experience requirement varied by state. In my state (PA), we need 2 years of experience with a Bachelors (phased out from 2012 due to 150 credit hr rule. only apply to anyone who passed atleast one section before 2012) with atleast 800 hrs in attestation. If you have a masters or atleast 150 credit hrs then 1 year experience with atleast 400 hrs in attestation. I passed all the sections but the experience factor is killing me because , i work as a accountant for a private company and not in Auditing, so my experience dont count.
