Does anyone know if we need the 150 (225 qtr) to SIT for
the exam? And if not, what are the requirements? (How many
accounting units, etc.)

Thanks.

I'm also interested about this new system. Let's assume I took pathway 1(info about this below) and passed the examination on 2013. Can I still be licensed even without doing the additional 30 credit hours after 2014 and only having 1 year of experience in attestation (or even nil experience)? provided I satisfied pathway 1's requirement on or after 2014 of course

The FAQs in: http://www.dca.ca.gov/cba/faqs/faqnewlic.shtml is very specific on this matter that you need to finish the educational and experience requirements BEFORE 2014 legislation kicks in to get a license. So, this led to my question about taking pathway 1 on 2013.

Pathway 1= you can take the CPA examination with 120 credit hours but you need 2 years of experience to get your license

Pathway 2= you can take the CPA examination with 150 credit hours but you need 1 year of experience to get your license.

The answers are vague on this one.
