Hi All,

I'm wondering if i can study BEC in 6 weeks/70-90 hours.. How many hours are you all studying, especially those who have passed?

Everybody is different and a lot of it depends on your other commitments.  I studied BEC for four weeks total and put in close to 100 hours, or just under.  I think what you are doing is sufficient.

I agree.  I just received my 75 and studied for 6 weeks and 70-80 hours.  But obviously I cut it close...

Yeah, I think you have to strike some sort of balance between putting in the hours required to get through everything, working the problems, giving it a solid review, etc. and doing it within a reasonable time period.  I think there's definitely a "short term memory" lol component to the exam and if I extend my studying out too long, then I have a hard time retaining the stuff from the beginning and pulling everything together.  Maybe just me though :)  Like right now I'm working on REG, and omg, there's so much to remember with all the tax stuff!

TryingCPA, Im with you in the whole memory thing. I found REG much easier than BEC, by far! But again we are all different....with BEC I cant remember the formulas if my life depended on it. How long are you giving yourself for BEC studying?
