i gave the beast this friday, they allowed me to take in special window in September because of the technical problems.
exam was brutal, i was eating my brains out, 1st testlet was medium, second and third were harder. there was nothing out of the blue, but definitely time consuming because of the tricky questions. i had 1 hour and 20 min left for sims. Sims were really .....i don't know what to say, communication and research were fine, but i don't know what they were expecting with sims. i studied a lot for last 2 months, and my credits are expiring if i don't clear this one. i have a bad feeling about this one. i am not sure how great i did with MCQ's and sims were horrible. hope this time i clear and can call myself CPA.

I didn't feel I did well on the sims (some tabs were out of left field) nor did I think my communications were that great (my essays were two paragraphs each max and I was so burnt out that I didn't put alot of thought in to them).  I did notice some of the tricky questions on the MCQs and a friend of mine told me at the time if I could tell where they were being tricky then I knew enough to pass and they were right.  So cross your fingers, you probably did well.

On a side note, how did you think REG compared to FAR in level of difficulty?

Reg is equally difficult, as it has a lot to memorize and rules to look over. Also it is a very time constraint exam as well. personally, after i gave FAR i felt any section is easy compare to the monster. i felt the same for REG, its easy because it has less chapters to cover, but every person feels different. i know many people who found FAR easier.

my worst fear is having to retake FAR again and being my very first exam sometimes i feel like im studying too much? not true, my scores on becker are too low to display, i need to go over and over and over. hopefully the other sections arent as bad. only one i may have trouble a lot is AUDIT since i never did audit in my life. just the class and barely got myself wit a C-

i used to think the same thing, my worst fear was to give FAR again, or for that matter giving any topic again. but i guess i learned my lesson hard way that there is nothing like over studying for CPA. i have given all the exams twice, every time i felt i am doing great, i am putting enough efforts but still couldn't clear. then i decided to put as many hours as i could, started going to library and stopped counting hours that i putting into studying. i started feeling better than ever.
i am a foreign student, i never studied AUD before as well, believe me its not that hard, if i can do it so can you. dont be afraid of anything when you are doing CPA, i wish all the best to everyone doing this, i felt worse when i could not clear FAR twice, getting 74 was the worse fear i had, and i did got 74, i think CPA made all my fears come true. but i was committed to it. i felt so broken for the 2nd time, but after 1 one day i said to myself, its not worth crying rather its worth fighting for...
hope i get positive this time.
