This is my first test.  I panicked last Saturday and moved my FAR test out another week.  Since I did that, my sense of urgency/do or die mode has faded.  I can't seem to focus.  I'm drifting....

Ever hit the wall and feel like crap?  I feel like I can see the train, and hear the train coming, but I can't get up and off the tracks.  I don't know if I'm getting burnt out, or depressed, or what.  Today I put in 7 hours and got about 90 mcq done.  I'm on knowledge consumption overload.  I'm reading it, but it glides right over my head.

Any cure to this?  Please Lord, let it be a pill requireing a beer chaser.

I recommend dinner at Joe's Crab Shack with a jumbo frozen margarita or two.  Then go see Angels & Demons or Star Trek, since both are well over 2 hours long.

That should put your brain in neutral long enough for a temporary respite, and also induce enough guilt for time-wasting that you feel compelled to get right back into the books.

Good luck.

I totaly agree with Nan Louisiana. The guilt usually gets me and then I add on an extra hour of studying to make up for the time I spent either cleaning, eating or anything that used to be part of every day living. I cant even enjoy anything anymore without tellimg myself I could be utilizing that time to study. I am surprised non of us are institutionalized after taking these exams.

I think that means you are ready to take it.. what the worst that can happen?  theres a chance you will pass right, so just take it.. and put yourself out of the misery for a while.
