Hello Everyone.

I was wondering for those of you with Becker, How many hours did you study each chapter? Is 20 hours a chapter enough? Also what chapters seem to be more difficult?

I am trying to set up a calendar for the next 2 months, I take the exam at the end of February.

I have already started Chapter 1.

Thanks,

I can share my experiance for BEC...

If you spend 10 hour for each chapter, I think it you should be ok. 3.5 hours for lecture, 3-4 hours book reading and 3-4 hours for passmaster. (But still varies with person to person and also depends on your previous education).

Main chapters are 3,4 and 5 (68%-75%)

Hi

Please don't take BEC very lightly, for this test u have to be through in all topics

as far as duration of study, I have seen people have passed with 100 hrs of studies, but I feel, for average student, atleast 180-200 hrs min required. One must be well versed with all chapters and understand the passmaster's mcq for right as well as wrong choices

This is I am talking with my experience, last time in Nov 08, I have scored 74 and now again, I am getting ready for my next venture with BEC on 2/4/09

Thanks

I feel like 180-200 hours is far too much time spent studying for any section of the exam.  I passed FAR in November with just under 55 hours of studying with an 86.  I take BEC tomorrow and according to my Exam Matrix progress report, I have studied for 32 hours.

I think if you're putting in 200 hours of studying you are being highly inefficient.  Just my thoughts.

Hi Jenkx

Thanks for your good comments

I am an average student, so I have to put required input

I think you are extra smart, as per your posting, you can pass rest of your 3 papers of CPA in 1 month period

Wish you good luck
