Hi guys,

I am a foreign student applying for NJCPA program. As per the requirements i have sent my transcripts to be evaluated to ECE last week around Mar 26th 09. The normal time taken by ECE for evaluation is 3 weeks. When do i need to submit my CPA application as i don't know the evaluation to be done by ECE.

Though i would be able to get the 150 credits as i am have done masters. Kindly reply

CPA-exams,

The process can take a few weeks, you might just want to send in your application in now (or within a week or two) in case the foreign transcription service you chose happens to be quick about their evaluations...

Yeah i guess they will be done by mid april.. week or two is what i thought for the waiting time.. is it ok if the NJCPA gets ECE report before my application ? or vice versa.. ( app. before ECE report) I mean to say will they keep it.. ? mm.. actually have doubt about the 2 not being received at the same time....

Not sure how your state board works, but I sent in my application first and then my transcripts.

CPA-exams,

Ideally the board will receive both your application and the evaluation at the same time. But if you send it now, I can't see how it would hurt, they'll usually just hang onto it.
