I wanted to share my experience with the BEC section of the CPA exam.

My first 2 testlets were ok. The third testlet was WEIRD... Very WEIRD! Nevertheless, I was able to pick "sense out of nonsense" and came up with the right answer. The writing section was not very difficult; what made it hard was the time constraint.

I used Becker for majority of my studying and I supplemented with Gliem questions and Wiley 2011 Updated book. From the exam yesterday, I would say that Becker needs to reassess its material ... especially with the new materials that have been incorporated in BEC. Becker alone will not cut it! Overall, I think that this section is doable; just study hard and you will pass.

This is my last section; I hope I passed. I have neglected my infant son to study for this section and I don't want to do that again!

I agree with both of you. I just want to pass. Still waiting to hear from FAR, but hopefully this will be my last one as well. I take it a week from Saturday!
