I seem to see consistent posts on the forum encouraging people to make their own study notes esp for FAR but i am wondering how efficient this approach is..

i am halfway through and have not made study notes and when i tried it was taking way too long to make them for the longer chapters but am actively considering those from cpareviewforfree OR rogercpa... anyone have experience with their study notes??

I wouldn't say make notes for everything,

but for things that you get confused with or find it hard to remember,

not every topic, not every detail

topics you are ok with, can solve their questions easily, skip doing notes for them.

You may also highlight in your material, so when you are reviewing later you just read the highlighted.
