From my understanding if you pass a section and fail to finish the test within a certain time span, your original credit will expire.

My question is if I pass all 4 parts within one year, will my overall status of passing the CPA test ever expire?

It depends on what state you're in. If you pass all 4 parts and don't qualify for licensure, your scores may expire after 3, 5, 10 years, or never. It just depends. Check your state board of accountancy.
