So I am looking into starting a macc program in fall 2012....hopefully I will be admitted into Texas but who knows right? Anyway, maybe it's a stupid question, but what is the timeline in regards to internship, big 4 hiring, and getting my CPA??? If I start school in August, do I participate in recruiting for an internship or for a career after the Macc? When does all of that take place? Where does the CPA fit into all of this (do I do it before or after I land a job)??
tl;dr: My background is in finance, not accounting, so I just want to know how recruiting and hiring works for big 4 while doing a Macc.
