I received my CPA license in Colorado. I'm
moving to Florida.
When I SAT for the exam in the CO, I did not
meet Florida's SITTING requirements (ie 120 semester
hours, 24 in certain accounting areas, 24 in general
business, and 6 in business law). CO has less stringent
rules on specific courses, so I took the exam while still
earning a master's degree.
I now meet Florida's education requirements (ie 150
semester hours, 36 in certain accounting areas, 39 in
general business, and 6 in business law).
Does it matter that I didn't meet the SITTING
requirements? After all, I now meet the overall education
requirements...
