Mary,

You see you still have lectures.....i think they are good....

and by the way i think online courses and self-study program are the same since in either case you get to watch the lectures. :-)

Mary, sorry about that.....but than lets study really hard and pass it together this time. I am 100% sure you can  do it in this window...!!!!

Best of luck...

Thank you Mary and Vika for your input.

Is the exam simulation software Becker's strength?  Do you refer to your highlighted sentences while you study?  Or do you find yourself doing question after question?

Hi cpaspirant,

I found this forum after I took FARE. I did not utilize the following study technique with FARE, but I have been utilizing the following technique with audit. I went through and looked at posts for all different people who have passed. There advice is to work all the multiple choice. I have been working the multiple choice for audit 3, and 4 times. I know it sounds like a lot. I want to pass audit, and most of the candiates that passed utilized this technique. When you get a multiple choice wrong read the answers for the multiple choice questions, so you understand why you got it wrong. Do not memorize the answers. Understand the concepts. Complete all the simulations. I am hoping my audit score will be much higher than FARE with utilizing this study plan.

Good luck.

Mary14 is right. This exam is all about retention but not memorization. You have to do the questions you got a few times and thats the way I passed all of my exams. I didnt even spend a lot of time on the text as my degree is in Accounting major. If you are not from an accounting major or granduated a long time ago, you might wanna spend some time on the text before venturing into the questions.
