Victory,

What review course did you use for BEC? Was it Roger Phillip?

I'm using the the Yeager home study lectures. You can get an individual section for about $450 or get a big discount if you buy all four sections at once.  They aren't very lengthy except for the FAR.  I think you should go to their website and watch a demo.

txcpacandidate,

Did you use Yeager for all parts so far? If so, it looks like you've done pretty well with it. I'm seriously thinking of getting Yeager but didn't like the way that "Yaeger" instructor taught on their website demo. It seems like he teaches in a frantic/hurried kind of way. The other two seemed like good instructors.

Yeah, I've used Yeager for them all. I'm watching the auditing lectures right now.  I failed REG and realized I needed to shake up my studying routine, so I tried Yeager for BEC.  I passed the BEC section a month later and it's been downhill since then.

I'm not sure which lecturer you saw, but it sounds like it was Phil Yeager. He hits the concepts fast and furious (which is my preference), but the other instructors go at a slower pace.

Any feedback on Roger Phillip review for FAR? I've been days trying to decide between Roger and Kaplan. Kaplan seems very good and complete, the self-study has videos, books, flashcards, audio, online exercises, etc. However, comments in these forums are very scarse. On the other side, I've seen demos from Roger and I really liked his funny style of teaching...Kaplan's J Hoyle is more "formal".

Becker seems t/b the best but too expensive for my budget. I like video lectures but had a bad experince with BEC Lambers, so I'm looking for alternatives.

Any comment?
