I think BEC is the worst for studying because I don't feel the study guides are adequate.

There are ALWAYS questions on BEC that I have not seen in my study guides.  At this point, I have the stupid Becker book memorized....plus all the Gleim stuff.

I just took BEC and I hope and pray that I passed it.  What I noticed though, on this board, is that there are very few posts regarding IT questions.  Not sure if that's because most people don't know what to ask or are a bit confused by the area.  However, technology questions, on the exam should NOT be overlooked and seriously prepared for.

For me, IT in the study materials is pretty straight-forward..not confusing at all.  It's just a matter of learning the terminology.  Of course, once I am in the exam and I get a bunch of crap that was not in my materials...well, that's a different story.

I've rarely gotten too many complicated IT questions the 3 times I took it before.  My study materials hit IT pretty hard (using exammatrix).  It seems like each time I've taken it, the "focus" on the test was in a particular area.  I've been surfing around trying to get an idea of whether it was just my observation or if other people have noticed as well, and it seems as if each testing block picks another area to hone in on.  What are your observations on this?  I only wonder because if Beez took it in this testing block and he says not to ignore IT and I have yet to see an IT "focus"....see where I'm going with this?

I have always had several IT questions, but I understand what you are saying.

For example, you may get hit with 5 variance questions, but none on ABC.  It's like out of the vast array of material they want you to know, they test 15% of it.
