Hi Murphy,

I am not sure whether this would help.  A friend of mine cleared the CPA exam this past fall. The last section she had to clear was Auditing.  She said that she just focused on her weak areas by looking at the score sheet that she received from the NASBA.   When she took it again,  the area that she was weak in was the area in which she had more questions in again.

Maybe, there is some kind of hardware or something that picks from the test bank of questions and tells the computer exam to compile a percentage of questions from the area in which the failed candidate was weakest in.

I don't know.  What the heck.  Analyzing the examiners and the CPA will send a sane person crazy.

I guess it is just best to cover everything and constantly go over areas that you are most weak in.

Also, look at the percentages breakdown on your score sheet and start from there.  I think it would be a great help.

cheers

Pheepa,

This seems to be strangely true.

I took Reg last week, and that was the 2nd time.Last time
i took,i got a 72,and my weak area was property
transactions.

This time around,I got ever so many property gain/loss
and basis questions, and I wonder if they connect the
previous performance with the current one.

These guys have got to be the most mysterious people,I
tell u!!

I too, feel so frustrated right now with BEC, its so scary. This will also be my 4th time taking it, the last time was 64, then a 74 now just last nov i got a 69. I was so frustrated it went down. I passed Reg and Aud and just took FAR last wk hopefully i passed on that one coz Reg will expire in Feb. now I'm taking BEC again! The lst BEC test was horrible, saw a lot of new stuff well I had a 2006 becker book. I hope that was the problem.
