1st- i got the wiley books bc they are affordable (last summer)
2nd- this past fall i got a job which paid for Becker

overall i would say i like the format of the becker book much more, but becker books do not include hw questions, those are part of the software.

Whiley books include everything in one deal, book with mc questions, sims and practice exam.

i have been following the becker program(at home with cd's) and supplementing with the whiley questions.

if you are on a budget and dont have a grand to spend on becker, i would try to find some used books and use them to learn the material, and then use wiley for the HW questions.

Thanks a lot. i think i will get the used book and try one part first. by the way, which part is easier in cpa exam? i plan to take BEC or REG.

Becker is definitely the way to go.  I got a 92 on FAR and I took AUD last week.  The AUD exam was probably 75% similar to the Becker review.

Becker is a little expensive but my future employer is paying for it so I don't care :)

seems like the general consensus is becker. ive used roger phillips online cram so far and it works for me. but i really think it comes down to practicing the questions yourself and Wiley's exam review book is the way to go. just do 1 question at a time and read the detailed answer in the back but make sure to read and understand why the the other answers are incorrect. that's how u really understand concepts.

i must say though, Roger does scare me a little

seems like a lot of people score in 90s with becker but i havent failed a part yet using Mr. Phillips and as long as can get a 75 in REG and FAR, that's good enough for me
