CPAstdy,

I agree with passitalready that you should keep studying BEC.  I was in a similar position and rescheduled BEC for Aug 3rd.  So, I am going through the same thing.

My study plan for the next 4 weeks is to first take a final exam to get an idea where I stand.  Then, read the chapters and lecture notes for a second time and work all the supplemental questions.  Then, take the second final exam.  Whatever time I have left will be to review weak areas and work mc questions.

How I cope with anxiety is to just to relax and learn one concept at a time.  This gives confidence and a feeling of accomplishment.  I would rather spend a half hour learning one concept "inside and out" than to speed through and not retain anything.  If you still get stuck on something, just work hw questions several times.  Then, move on to the next topic.

I would be curious to know what your study strategy will be for BEC.

Goodluck!

I couldn't agree more with this statement!  The anxiety of taking this exam the first time is bad, but the second... it has been brutal for me because I'm very fearful of having to do it again.  The only way I have been getting through this by mastering once concept at a time.

The only person that can guaratee a passing grade is you!  "YOU" have to find a way of taking care of "YOU!"  It is critical to stay confident!

Thanks everybody for their inputs. I do agree with all of you.  I only decided to take AUD and stop BEC because my NTS for AUD will expire in 2nd week of Aug and I don't want to lose time again studying for it like BEC. I wanted to take BEC in the same window because if I fail again I can take it on the next window (oct-now) I also have to take FARE in oct-nov window or I would lose my credit for REG in Feb next year. I am not working right now and just studying so I'm thinking I'm going to study crazy.

It sounds like you have a sensible plan & good luck to you!  You'll get through it.....evenutally.

Believe me...I say eventually for myself too!  I can only do so much at a time and there are only so many hours in a day.

Good luck to you
