Hi guys,

People told me that the exam'd better to be taken in a sequence from the difficuliest to easiest. Can you share some of your experience? As far as I know, most people take FARE first.

You comment and advice is appreciated!

The way Becker sets it up is:
1)BEC
2)REG
3)AUD
4)FAR

I think this is the best.

I dont think it matters too much. Everyone has their own reasons but I took AUD first then BEC. Now I plan to take REG then finish with FARE.

I wanted to start with the subjects I felt most confident in and move from there. Also, in the Becker course, AUD and BEC are the shortest sections (in terms of lecture time) so that was another factor I put into the decision.

You shouldn't take the hardest part first.  If you start losing credits, would you rather re-take the hardest or the easiest part?

Determining which part is hardest will likely be different for each person.  FAR is usually considered the most difficult as it has the most material, by far.  I found AUD to have the least amount of material and that one, along with REG, were the easiest for me, and also the most interesting.  BEC doesn't have a ton of material, but the subjects aren't really interrelated so it is really like studying 5 distinct topics.  Also, the IT section is silly and hard to study for.

I agree with the above posts that it can depend on the person and the situation they're in. I chose to start with FAR because it was the most material and I knew I'd have the most energy and motivation to study when I first started all the studying. Once I passed FAR, I knew I could handle any of the other exams because they have less material to cover. I took AUD after FAR because it was a little different in terms of the type of information and learning method since AUD is more memorization.
