I'm trying to go from 48 to 75+ .

But I'm also trying to go from not studying to studying like I have for my other 3 exam sections. haha

I screw up both Reg and Aud and plan to retake Reg on Aug and Aud on Oct... Do you think it is possible for one to move from 61 to pass?

Really unexpectedly low... pretty depressed

For AUD, I passed it by just doing the MCs. If u use Becker, Repeat the MCs again and again and again and again and again... never ending unitl the exam. Do this strategy in each part and u will pass.

Here what I did to pass two sections (REG & AUD) and which is very important to do.

Make sure u do the  all the MCs in the week before the exam. If u can do that I am sure u will pass. Most people think that they still have the information in their brain and they do not reveiw the all questions which is wrong. Now, I am stuying for FAR and I will review the whole questions in one week before my exam. That helps to keep the information freash in my mind.

I hope that helps.

Scalco,
Its very tough to say which one is difficult BEC or AUD, because i started with BEC thinking that its one of the easy ones and i will get some boost if i pass one section, i failed with a 71, at that time my aud was in line i tried to keep my confidence tight and not to think about BEC and i failed miserably in AUD, that made me feel too low, because i had a 56 and going from 56 to 80 was a big challenge. For a moment i decided to give it up, thanks to this forum that i gave myself a benefit of doubt and gave both the exams again. BEC is easy in terms of chapters and all, its a nice mix of theory and problems unlike AUD, but again the issue with BEC is you can expect the unexpected in the exam, it covers a big range, so you never feel prepared. Also one good thing is it does not have simulations.

On the other hand AUD is all theory, which i am good at, but to my shock i couldn't clear.
Rithrya-my strategy was first i switched to becker (not to blame any authors here, but if you know some material isn't working for you, then why waste months and your energy). then i just concentrated on the lecture CD's, did all the chapters twice, i did mCQ's for 6 times and after all the revision i skimmed through all the chapters, flash cards and important pass keys. i improved my writing skills for auditing, by reading suggestions given in gliem and wiley. and it worked for me. I dont want to misguide anyone, by saying you should switch to becker, many people have passed using gliem/wiley/bisk. but issue with me was, it has been a long time i graduated and also i left my studies 3-4 years back, and other materials keep in mind that you already know this topics and they cover them in very generic way. becker follows that even if you have not look at certain topic in your life before thats ok, they go through everything. I would say last 10 days of your exam, you should revise as much as you can, that really helps. Goodluck.
