Holly, if someone really wants to put those scores somewhere, a cover letter could be a better way to go. At least, the candidate could describe his excitement about being an accountant or auditor. :-)

I agree with you lelik, and I see nothing wrong with blatantly boasting on a resume or a cover letter.

I have no working experience for CPA firm yet, but have bookkeeping and tax experience. I have very high GPA and good exam scores, so far, but I do not think it is a good idea to put it on your resume. Well, think, if the person who is interviewing you, was not an honor student, hardly passed the CPA exam with 75s. This person will not like your high grades. Of course, we all know the hiring people should not have anything personal against you and should only look at your qualifications but in real life it is not that perfect. So, no matter how much you want to brag about your high scores, I would keep it to yourself. GPA, I heard, is a good idea, because it can get you an interview with Big 4, but not CPA exam scores. This is my personal opinion.

I don't think putting your scores on your resume is a good idea. All that really matters is whether or not you passed. Maybe if you passed on your first shot, it might be good to highlight that in your cover letter.
