hi tgisgrl,

any new updates on ur application process or have u already started on the exams already?  CA is very slow!  :(  i submitted my application almost a month ago and am only hearing now that they received my check...they've received my transcript since June 30th....

if my transcripts go through, will i be able to see updates on my exam account on their website?  i was really hoping to sit for one exam at the end of august but at this rate, doesn't look like i will be.  and i've already started a class with becker.

does anyone have suggestions about studying while waiting to sit for the exam.  too bad sept is blocked out!

I already started testing, I have one section left (FAR) to take at the end of Aug. It took about a 2 months (beg of March - end of April) for me to complete the whole process (to the point where I actually scheduled my test with Prometrics online). I think that you should be able to able to sit at the end of August. If everything goes well.

The online account does not update the transcript part, you are the one actually inputting that data.

The part that they update on your online account is your 'Status' to take the test. This happens once you receive your NTS. The transcript verification is what takes the longest. Meanwhile, start reading your Becker book in addition to taking the class because this is also going to be a long process.

Hi...I have a question for those who have received their NTS...is the time period (i.e. the 6 month window) starting from the date that you paid for the NTS or what? I planning on taking all 4 parts within one NTS window...and I want to take the first one in Nov...any advice as to when i should apply?

THANKS!

If you are in CA, because the budget hasn't been signed, and the governator reduced all state employee pay to $6.55/hour and laid off all temp, part-time, and student workers, the process has slowed down.

In my case, I mailed my app in Oct 2007, my check was cashed in Nov 2007, and I didn't get my NTS until March 2008, a ridiculous amount of time.
