Just to share a little bit of info, I took live classes with Becker (I had to say self-study helped me more than sitting in that class listening to the instructor read through the book). The one thing they guarantee is 90% passing rate among the students who took it if these students would put in the effort to read the book in its entirety and do all the homework questions, final exam and simulations in their CD. 

I followed their instructions and it worked for me. 

Yes, final review and exam are different. I just did the final exam in the passmaster software because I did not want to pay extra money for the final review so I am not sure if it would be helpful or how it would have affected the grades that I received.

The firm I went with paid for the course and Flashcards, so I bought the final review just to make sure I kill this exam on the 1st try. I take my 1st class this sat and I just got the Fed-ex tracking message that my first Final review disk has been delivered.

 I just mailed my CPA app today though, so I probably won't be taking anything until october. I'll try to remember to tell how it worked for future readers.
