Today I received my Performance Summary and I was shocked to see my scores compared to a passing candidate. The first time I sat for the exam I bombed it so bad that it really didn't mean anything to me, but this time is different!
I failed this section I scored above 57 on the two sections that were weighted the heaviest! My question is how the heck did I get a 59. I was comparable to a passing candidate on ehtics (15-20%) and stronger on tax procedures (8-12%) and in the high 60's on the sections? How is a 59 calculated?
Ethics (15-20%) 73
BUL (20-25%) 57
Tax Procedures (8-12%) 80
Property Transactions (8-12%) 68
Individual Taxation (12-18%) 59 (I have no clue how I did that since I prepared over 100 1040's this tax season).
Entity Taxation (22-28%) 63
Passing candidates were 76, 77, 76, 77, 77, & 78 respectively.
Can someone please shed some light on this?
