lakshmip, work on your confidence. :-) You can always say that your current job was very interesting and taught you a lot, but you have never seen it as a permanent position, that you needed it while you were taking the CPA exam. During the interview, try to convince everybody that you can do the job, that you have enough skills and knowledge to do it. CPA definitely will increase your chances in getting a good job. I am sure you use right words. :-) You talk here, on the forum. :-) Don't get discouraged because of a couple of rejections. I had tons of interviews over the period of 4 (!) years which resulted in zero offers (I was employed, so I didn't really care one way or another). I got two offers only after I passed the CPA exam.
By the way, believe it or not, but I was asked many times during the interviews whether I could use QB. So, you are on the right track. :-)
