Thanks for the words of encouragement.  I have until the end of Jan ......using the Gleim CD and Bisk textbook.  I wasted a lot of time trying to figure out problems that had me stumped instead of just moving on to the next question.  I'm working on that now by trying to limit each testlet to no more than 45 minutes.

Bubzee, I'm really not cutting you down in anyway. I would just like some clarification.

Should I be concerned that you are a "Major Contributor" but have not yet passed all the sections of the exam???

If you have been in the business for years and years then just brush me off, but I am sorry but I do not know your background and have not read enough of your posts to realize your knowledge.

I started studying for the exams months ahead of time but was unable to start  taking them due to registration issues.  Furthemore, when I first started using just the Wiley book but found that wasn't effective for me. When I started also using the Gleim cd I was able to boost my scores significantly.

007CPA, major contributing doesn't have anything to do with the exams. :-) I read this forum just because there are many interesting people who I "knew" for years (I mean read their posts on this forum). In addition, my employer blocked the majority of the websites, so this one is one of ones that remained and interesting. I honestly can't tolerate news very well. :-) Though, I try to read the CNN website every morning just to see if there are any major disasters are coming my way. :-)

Bubzee, I am sad to hear it. I actually passed the exam using Wiley book and CD. Though, it took me 9 months to prepare for FAR. :-) Gleim is really great for the auditing.
