BRS- it must be EY. Salary they offered you is same from 3 years ago. Get ready to work hard, not be appreciated and be surrounded by "C" level players. On the bright side, you will get to travel a lot (I made platinum on AA in 4 months), and see how some pretty big companies work on the inside. With BRS or internal audit, you go deeper into the organization than with external audit. One piece of advice- try to get onto internal audit engagements rather than SOX. Anyone can do the SOX work, but you learn more on the internal audit engagements.

Thanks for replying, wannabCPA.

When you say get ready to work hard, does that mean that the work will be more difficult/tedious than an external auditor's job?  Doesn't my having some work experience count towards my pay?

Jaan, I am still awaiting your reply.
