The Bisk book along with the Intensive DVD (exclusively lectured by Bob) and the Cost and Managerial Accounting Hot Spot (exclusively lectured by Bob) are good combinations to use. Thses are sufficient materials to study for the exam.

Hello,

I need your advice.. I feel that I am spending Time and Money.
I am using Becker and currently studying the FAR. I solve the passMaster then I go to Wiley to solve the practice software .
I am about ordering Lambers and Bisk questions.
Is this correct?
How I can guarantee 99/100 in the FAR? What is your advice ? What is the best CPA software to practice; initially for FAR and then for the remaining parts?

I would recommend Gleim mcq. However, I think doing MCQ with Wiley software should be enough. I have Gleim and Wiley software and many of the mcq are the same. good luck!

Wannabe,

I plan to take BEC first and plan to use Wiley book, but its 2009 software is not out yet. May I have your advice on this matter as you already had the chance to deal with both Gleim and Wiley softwares for BEC? Also, I heard Wiley book has MCQ's, is that enough? Thanks!

Wiley's book MCQ collection is outstanding. They have more MCQ's in the book than they do in their Test-Prep CD. You could say that the MCQ's in the CD is just a fraction of what they have in the book.

For BEC, you can go by with 2008 edition. This is one section that has no changes. Just supplement your study with the 2008 AICPA released questions. I have both 2007 and 2008 Wiley BEC and the only changes are the MCQ's.

In the 2007 edition, the appendix is 2006 AICPA released questions.

In the 2008 edition, it is the 2007 released questions in the appendix and looks like the 2006 released questions was integrated into the MCQ's. But the actual content of the lecture have no changes.
