I do like the Final Review. To me, it is very helpful and a good investment. Personally, I cannot memorize the massive amount of the information from the Becker textbook, so the final review makes my life easier. Using that, I can memorize the most important formulas and topics, but reading the textbook I cannot segregate if it’s the most important things to memorize or not. Besides, it trains my time management much better than the Becker Review (I am always out of time on Becker Review, since it has so many pretty hard questions that you never see on the actual exam). The Final Review would work for people who do not have much time to study and who cannot memorize the whole stuff from the text. It works for me very well, even thought I agree that it‘s overpriced.

I used it for FAR, and I credit it for the extra 6 points I needed to pass. There was so much material in there, and even having another instructor teach in a little different way made some things more clear right before the exam.

It is however expensive. I was a total basketcase before FAR, so my husband bought it for me so I wouldn't go crazy.

I bought the final review for FAR too.. im on my "two weeks" review right now. I'm re-reading the book and redoing all the HW's+  sims.. but it seems like re-reading ist reasonable (i'm at F4 now) and that i wont have enough time. I'm getting scared becuase some of the materials I somewhat forgot but it came back to me while redoing the HW's.

Do you have any suggestions how to use the Final Review. I read somewhere it's best to use it the last 2-3 days b4 taking the exam cuz if you take it too early it could hurt you. But my confidence is somewhat low right now while reviewing everything.. Any tips how should I should spend my 10 days of reviewing??

I also bought Gleim McQ so on topics im not sure i try to do more questions. but i just dont like Gleim's publisher questions..

I would skim the chapters on your lunch break, or stuck in traffic, whatnot. That's what I had to do. I made tabs where I knew where each chapter was, and if I worried about one, I would look at it.

I would use the Final Review a week before the exam, to iron out all your worries. You can see what areas you still are weak on, and work on those. I did not have time to do this completely and I would have been less nervous if I had.

My advice about FAR is this: learn a good overview on everything. If you get hung up on on thing, don't waste your time trying to learn it now. Focus on what you DO know and show those examiners that! Also, remember Becker says Non Profit and Govt count 20%! Texas is one of those states that gives diagnostics to passers too, and NFP and Govt saved me big time.

And did I say I bombed both sims? BOMBED!! (except for communication) Which means I had to do extra well on MC's. Do them over and over. Trust me!

No matter what happens, do your best and remember MOST people think they failed this section. I had already started redoing the lectures because I was certain I had failed, and when I got my passing score I squealed so loud I woke my sleeping toddler.

Good luck! And let me know how it goes.

I only use Becker self study book and CD.  I am thinking to purchase Becker final review.  Are MCQ in final review the same as in self study?  Thanks!!
